Ok, so I've been going out with the same guy since 5th/6th grade. I'm going to be a junior now. Do you think I'm hurting myself by staying with one guy for so long as a teen? Am I missing out on the whole "teenage experience" Like all my friends have guy problems like-
he likes her, but he likes me, too I think he going to dump me He cheated on me again I'm so over him *grabs ice cream*
You know, that kinda stuff. But for me it's like-
Yeah, Denver lost his cell phone again. Denver keeps eating what he's allergic too. Denver's coming over.
idk if you know what I mean. He's so much a part of my life, like a brother would be. So really, he's the only guy I've ever been with. I've never gone through a break-up, been cheated, or even that whole "we're talking, but not going out yet" awkard stage, because in 5th grade it's like "Will you be my girlfriend?" and then an easy "yes." So do you think I'm missing out on a lot of "love lessons"? or will I be alright?
btw I love Denver, and I would never break up with him, but I just started thinking about this.

I'd take a long relationship like yours over "teenage experience" anyday. =P

I think you're so lucky. Your only missing out on the bad stuff of relationships. I've never had a boyfriend before, so I'm missing out more than you are. lol ^_^

Who cares about the teenage experience. You've got someone that loves you, and you love them.
